This Unexpected Love

Part 3 - Letting Go

That night, Audrey was lying on her bed, thinking to herself, "Perhaps, Ben doesn't likes me at all, I should just not bother him anymore."

But Audrey, was feeling a little pinch in her heart. She don't love Ben, she just liked him a lot.

Audrey couldn't get to sleep, she was tossing and turning in her bed, all of Ben's images just keep flashing in her mind. "Arrgghh! Just get out of my freaking mind!" she said to herself. She did not slept a wink that night, and went to work the next day.

Audrey was waiting to see if there'll be any messages from Ben, but, none.

Audrey waited the second day again, none.

1 week passed, still not a single message from him, Audrey thought to herself, "maybe, I should really just let it go. He's such a nice and charming man, why would he take notice of me? I'm just a plain jane."

Audrey slowly distant away from her group of friends, so as to avoid seeing Ben. She started to party more often, despite the fact that she's still working. She made friends, and started hanging out with them. And she tried to stop thinking about Ben.

One day while partying, she saw a familiar face, "Hi Audrey! Oh my, you're looking great!"

"Sorry, you are?"

"I'm Chris! Don't you remember me?"

"Erm, sorry.... I don't really remember you."

Despite telling Chris then she don't remember him at all, at the back of Audrey's mind, she remembered him clearly.

Audrey thought to herself, "ya ya ya, bloody flirty sweet talker asshole"

Audrey then turned her back and walked away......
